The Peak drybrush has a round belly with filaments tapering to a point at the top. The flagged synthetic bristles in the peak have good spring and snap. This brush is commonly used for drybrushing, which allows the artist to scrub shade and highlight. To drybrush, fully load the peak and then remove paint from the outer bristles by wiping on a paper towel. Use light pressure to apply shading and highlights.
The Peak drybrush is a blend of multi-diameter flagged tip bristle. The firm filaments are split at the tip, creating the additional ability to hold heavy-bodied paint or to drybrush by removing excess paint.
