I believe art should be approachable, inspiring, and filled with joy. For me, paintingi is about embracing yourself, celebrating beauty, and discovering your own unique expression.

I’ve spent three decades teaching, designing brush lines, writing books and developing step-by-step methods that make painting feel possible for anyone. My journey has taken me across the globe to share not only my love of art, but also the belief that creativity belongs to everyone.

My goal is to empower artists of all levels to pick up a brush with confidence and create with freedom.

We love our collaborations and work closely with other manufacturers like Sizzix, Colart, Ampersand, New Wave Art and many others to develop product, artwork or content that fulfills our mission to Awaken the Artist. Our most recent collaborations include licensed designs with Sizzix or our beautiful paint palette's with Winsor & Newton.

I want to ensure that all our students and customers are happy. We are 100% committed to your satisfaction and will work to ensure you find what you need with our team. We are also committed to a cruelty-free product assortment and for that reason we do not use any animal hair or animal based glued in our product ranges.
