The Callia Mixed Media Fine Round has an extended taper creating an extra-fine, elongated point for precise applications of color. Created with an innovative multi-diameter blend of smooth synthetic filaments, the Fine Round allows for controlled flow and color-carrying capacity. Due to its ability to hold color in the belly and release with precision, this shape is a favourite of watercolor artists.

The Fine Round shape and Smooth Synthetic blend of filaments allows color and paint to hold in the belly and flow smoothly from the tip. A perfectly balanced handle with six layers of filler, primer, paint and lacquer prevents water from penetrating to the wood. This ensures our handles resist cracking and increases the longevity of your brushes. We use solid brass ferrules which are crimped and meticulously inspected for shape and a scratch-free finish.
