Friday — Mark Making with Watercolor Brushes + Book Signing

Join Willow for a new book launch signing and artist celebration. This is a perfect chance to meet Willow, chat about brushes, and connect with fellow artists.

Stay for an inspiring demonstration on expressive mark making using a variety of watercolor brushes. Willow will show how different brush shapes and fibers create unique strokes, textures, and movement in watercolor.  Willow will also delve into the beauty of synthetic artist brushes and why cruelty-free art supplies are the future. 

Saturday — Hands-On Watercolor: Blue Jay & Dogwood

Roll up your sleeves and paint along! Participants will create a beautiful blue jay surrounded by dogwood blossomswhile learning Willow’s techniques for layering color, building soft petals, and creating lively feather textures.

A line drawing will be provided on the painting surface, and brushes and paint are included, so you can focus on enjoying the painting experience.

Sunday — Hands-On Watercolor: Rhododendrons in Bloom

Inspired by British Columbia’s lush landscapes, paint vibrant rhododendrons while learning how to shape petals, create depth, and bring florals to life with expressive watercolor techniques.

As with Saturday’s class, a line drawing will already be on the surface, and brushes and paint are included.
